This past week has been so busy. Saturday I had Austin and the kids, so I stayed home all day. We got a new Wii Fit game and we have all been exercising and competing w one another...lots of fun. Hec came over that afternoon after working a few hours at the lab. Sunday we all went to The Ministry Center again for church. We ate at Karls Family Rest for lunch....it only cost $24 for all 6 of us!! We spent the rest of the afternoon at home. Hec left that night to go home because he had to work the FD the next morning. Monday I watched Dancing w the Stars while I worked out some more on my Wii Fit. Tuesday Hec and Kristina came over and stayed the night and we just had a family night....the kids and Hec all spent time on the Wii fit...I didnt get a chance to. I was really cranky that night and sleepy. Watched American Idol and went to sleep around 10. Hec and I didnt really connect much that night...we were both so busy doing other things...lol (we fussed a little that night too) haha Wed night Hec picked up Kendall....him and Ashleigh talked more about the custody thing....she is wanting full custody and 6/3 day visitation, and of course, more child support. Hec was in a bad mood last night....it kills him that she is not being too fair about all this. He said he talked to her about 30 min while driving last night apologizing for treating her so bad during their marriage....he said he knows they both were not happy and that they took out a lot on each other....she accepted his apology and said she forgives him....it made Hec feel a lot better....but she still is not sure about changing anything w the custody issue. I just want all this to be over very soon!! Today Hec is at FD again....I have Austin today after he gets out of school (and tomorrow) I will be meeting Emiko tomorrow after work to eat. I have not seen her in a while. Hec will have Kendall tomorrow....Sat we drop her off around 3 to her mom and we are going up to knoxville to watch an easter play at my dads church....it is always so awesome to watch. Dad wants us to go out to eat afterward and then we will head back to Chatt. Hec has to work FD on Sunday. (seems like he is always working) lol Well gotta get back to my statements here at work. It is chilly and blah looking outside....cant wait for summer. :)

Today is Friday...it has been chilly the last few days. I was sick to my stomach all day yesterday. Feel better today. Last night Hec came over w Kendall and Kristina and ate spaghetti. It was a pretty peaceful night. Kendall got really cranky and cried a lot...we figured out it was her teeth. She must be getting a new molar. She finally went to sleep around 9:30. Ash loves cuddling w her. Ashleigh is babysitting her today (just cause she wanted to). They went to the mall and played on little playground inside, then ate chick fil a. Hec is meeting her at Ham Place mall around 4:15 to get her and then take her to her mom. We are having date night tonight. I am in the mood for some Thai Bistro. I love their sushi there. yum yum We may go see a movie later if we are not too tired. He is wanting to see "Knowing" but I have heard bad reviews on it. It looks good though. Caitlin is working til 6:30 and then of course she will be w Will. Lauren is at Ashlins tonight and her dad will pick her up tomorrow morning. Austin has been working w his dad all week. I am sure they are tired of each other. I miss him. Hec and I have a financial class to go to tomorrow, then a wedding then he goes to Fire Dept for rest of the evening. Sunday we are meeting for church, then lunch, then counseling class, then bud and jennys for Chimichanga night!! It is going to be a long weekend. I am going to try to spend some quality time w Austin tomorrow night....He would like that.

Today is Monday, it is raining outside today. Not too cold but chilly. Work is slow as usual these days. The kids are out for spring break all week. We didn't do much this weekend ( I had Austin) Friday night I took Austin to the eye doctor after work after I picked him up from his dad downtown. I went into Walmart and got bread and eggs to make french toast for dinner. ALL the kids were there for dinner, it felt so nice. Hec was at home tonight w Kristina and Kendall moving furniture. His (ex) brother in law is moving in his house to help out w the bills. Hec gave him his master bedroom and bath and gave Kristinas bedroom to his daughter Benita. Hec moved his stuff and Kristinas stuff into the other 2 bedrooms. Saturday was a lazy day. I only left once to go get Austins clothes at his house. We watched movies all day and just enjoyed ourselves. It was very relaxing. Hec continued to move Saturday, then after he dropped Kendall off he came to my house and hung out. I got Subway for everyone and We watched Lakeview Terrace on Pay per view. It was a good movie. Sunday Hec had to work at fire dept. Me and the kids all went to church (The ministry Center) it was nice to visit there after about a year. I always did like the people there. After church we went to Ichiban and ate lunch. My papaw Averitt and his wife Sandy happened to get seated at our table....it was nice to see them and eat lunch w them too!! After lunch Caitlin and Ash went to the mall and me and the other 2 kiddos went to walmart and lauren bought a new game for the Wii. Her and Austin played the Wii when we got home. The girls finally got home and I watched the movie, Emma. I really enjoyed that movie!! It felt good relaxing most of the weekend. I just hope the kids dont get too bored being at home all day w nothing to do. I wish I had more money to let them do things. I may let Ash take Lauren to the pottery place and paint something....they love to do that together. Tonight is going to be a date night w Hec.....I hope....if he says "yes". I havent asked him yet. We need some alone time. I will write more later. :-)

Today has been so long!! It was cold this morning...wearing my tennis shoes today. I have had a horrible UTI and it felt so bad last night during and after church, but I hung in there! I went home and took a pain pm pill and went to sleep. This morning I felt a little better and then finally my dr called me in some meds today. I can pick them up after work. I get to leave work in about 10-15 min. Lauren is going to CCA Idol at her school from 7:30 til around 9:30. Caitlin is off tonight but going somewhere w her girlfriend Becca to drop her dogs off. Ash is working til 9:45. Hec is in Dalton working at Fire Dept. I guess I will go home and read and hang out w the dogs until I have to pick Lauren up tonight. I like being alone sometimes. I wish Caitlin hadnt made plans, I miss her and would have loved some one on one w her. But oh well..... Maybe one day she will miss me too. lol Austin is working w his dad today and isnt available either. It would be nice to see him too. I am headed out the door. Will write again tomorrow.-LC

Well....I made it to work on time. Lauren and I did not want to get up this morning!! We overslept about 20 min. I had to leave the house w my hair still wet...lol The weather this morning was slightly cool but not cold enough to wear a coat. I just threw on a light jacket and my flip flops (yay) Last night after work I met Hector and Kristina at Portofinos and I had the Chicken Alfredo (the fat free version of course!! haha) and they got the pizza/salad bar. I left and went to pick up Lauren at her dads house. She just HAD to show me her bedroom where her and Roger had cleaned it this past weekend. She was just happy to have her bedroom back after 6 or so months!! It was demolished she said. When I got home Lauren had tons of homework and I decided that while she worked on that I would walk the dogs outside. It was so wonderful outside last night. Me, coco and meeya (Kenzie's leash was confusing so I left her at home) went walking out behind my house and up into the wooded area. Coco was in heaven. I came home about 30 min later and read some on my back porch until 8, when American Idol came on. I love that show. I have 3 favorites so far.....Adam (the rocker), Lil Rounds, and Danny (the widow). I brought my leftovers from last night to work today....i can't wait to eat it for lunch!! Portofinos has the best homemade alfredo sauce. Ashleigh and Daniel had a date night last night celebrating 3 yrs!! She is grounded at the time (for skipping school to go back home to sleep!!) But I let her off for one night. They went walking at Coolidge Park and got ice cream and ate at Chick Fil A. She got home around 10:15. Caitlin came in around 10 as well. Tonight is church, we are in the last few weeks of Song of Sololmon series. It has been a great study. Hector will have to miss next week, he will be at the Fire Dept. He gets Kendall tonight. Ash is working, so Kendall will be in the nursery w strangers. I think she will do ok. She is getting better at being around others. I love that girl. She has my heart for sure. Well, going to get to work. Will write more later.

Today is Tuesday, it feels more like Wednesday. The weather outside is gorgeous. I am wearing flip flops today and didn't have to grab my jacket as I left my house. I love spring weather. I am at lunch break right now at work. Work has been really slow the last few months. We have had to lay a few people off. Hopefully it will pick up when the warmer weather hits. Hector just called me from the dentist office, his appt was at 11am....he was in waiting room 50 min before telling them to reschedule. He was upset...I would be too. His new appt is April 9. We are still waiting on new court date for his custody battle for his youngest daughter, Kendall. I can't wait for this all to be over with soon. Such a headache sometimes. Ashleigh got her first car Feb 22 and it has been a mess as well. It is a 97 Ford Taurus. We bought it for 1480 from a young dealer in Dalton GA. We didn't know it at the time, but the heat didn't work in it. We have put in a new heater core, but it still doesn't work. Now mechanic is putting in a new water pump. Hopefully, $2k is all I will be putting into this car!!! I just want it to last over a year. Caitlin is never at home. I hardly ever see her. She works at the Pet Ark almost every day. When she is not at work, she is w her boyfriend, Will. They have been together a little over a year now. She says he is the one....but is smart enough to wait to get married a few years from now. She will graduate HS this summer. She is going to attend college at Chatt State for 2 yrs....she still doesn't know what she wants to be when she "grows up" lol Austin and me are not as close as I would like for us to be. He is all about his friends and his dad right now. Hopefully that will change one day. I miss my little boy....I love him and I feel like I don't know him that well....sometimes I feel like we are strangers passing. Of course, I am starting to feel that way about Caitlin too. It is sad. Lauren is my only child that still "hangs out w momma" haha. She is always talking and wanting to eat at McDonalds....she is going to turn into a mcnugget!! :) I am glad they are all healthy. Hector and I will be getting married this August (22nd). It seems so far away. We are currently taking pre-marital classes and workshops. It has really helped us tot get deeper w one another. I will be moving to Ringgold GA when we get married. We plan on starting our new church at that time "The Crossing". It is located by Ham Place Mall. We love it there. Right now, we are taking classes on Wed night at my church in Hixson, Stuart Heights and on Sundays we go to different churches to visit. Tonight I am meeting my love and his daughter Kristina for dinner at Portofinos in E Ridge. I love their fetticine alfredo. I will write more tomorrow.

My first blog

Today is March 10, 2009. I have decided to start a blog today and start writing down my daily thoughts and things that happen in my life that pertain to my children, my fiance and my family. I think this is a good way to help me look back on my life and see where I was and remind me of all that God does in my life on a daily basis. I have never been good at keeping a diary or a journal, but I hope I can start now.
